As the school holidays approach, those of you with children will no doubt be turning your minds to activities and  summer camps to keep them busy,  entertained and engaged this summer.

Here’s something Science Technology,  Engineering and Maths (STEM) packed  for your budding engineers, designers  and makers…The Marches Centre of Manufacturing and Technologies have teamed up with  Black Country Atelier to offer our first Engineering Club for 9 to 13 year olds.

Taking place during the week of August 20th – 24th at the MCMT’s advanced  training centre in Bridgnorth Shropshire,   BCA instructors alongside MCMT staff  and apprentices will be giving your  future engineers and scientists a fully  immersive experience of design and  engineering.

Your children will be working on several  practical, hands on projects through the  week, using a full range of engineering  tools both traditional and modern such  as hand fabrication and finishing tools, Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D  printers and programmable controllers.

It’s a sure way to inspire your children  into  STEM.

What’s more BCA develop courses and  qualifications for schools, so should your  children wish to take their skills further,  they have the opportunity to develop  them back at school.

We guarantee the club will be so action  packed it will make  you want to join!
